Pulling At The Strings of Resistance was performed live at MORA Museum, September 2025, as a corresponding piece alongside She Is Not A House. With artist and friend, Christine Sauerteig-Pilaar as the Veiled Figure, representing the patriarchal standards women have been expected to adhere to throughout history. We danced together, in a push and pull, while my Caged Bird, the masked archetype of yearning and freedom, tangled back and forth between escape and compliant stillness.
