Entangled
Christy E. O’Connor
Mixed media painting (watercolor, pen & ink, charcoal, foam, acrylic)
16 x 20 in., framed
2023
Entangled was started during my residency at ChaNorth during the summer of 2023. Using reference images from a live performance I did, entitled Diamonds Are a Queen’s Best Friend, and image of the modern day queen dancing transformed into a scene reminiscent of her almost floating, as she becomes entangled in vines.
